Background
E-invoicing is a major government initiative in partnership with New Zealand. The ATO is the Peppol Authority for Australia working together with all three tiers of government, large and small business and their intermediaries and influencers, to drive e-invoicing adoption across the Australian economy.

We are looking for an experienced content developer to support the ATO’s e-invoicing Small Business Engagement Team to raise awareness and drive e-invoicing take up among Australia’s 2.5m small businesses.

About the e-invoicing project team
The e-invoicing project team manages stakeholder relationships across large and small business, government, digital service and solution providers, as well as international jurisdictions to raise awareness and drive adoption of e-invoicing in Australia.

What we do:
As part of the e-invoicing project team, the small business engagement team works with small business advisors (including bookkeepers and accountants) as well as accounting software providers to raise awareness and educate on how to adopt among their clients, members and customers.

We support them with a range of content and collateral both government-branded and white-labelled for them to use in their own channels.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced content developer who can quickly understand e-invoicing as a concept and help us raise awareness and drive adoption with compelling and practical content for online, events and promotional collateral within this fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will join a small team of three based in Canberra or in Brisbane (where part of the broader adoption team is based) and will have a Baseline clearance or be able to get one. The position is for six months with a possibility to extend.

• Develop awareness and promotional key messages for online content and collateral including small business communication campaigns, as well as events, webinars and social media.
• Work closely with topic experts and stakeholders to create and iterate content
• Identify audience needs and develop content to address these needs
• Collaborate with internal and external marketing and communications team including key Commonwealth agencies; major accounting software providers, peak bodies and associations and other e-invoicing jurisdictions, as required.

• Ability to quickly learn and understand e-invoicing fundamentals.
• Excellent written communications skills with a focus on content development for online, event and promotional collateral
• Excellent information design skills, eg PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Some relationship management experience
